Oak Forest family is in search of a responsible, caring and compassionate nanny to provide full-time care for their 8-year-old child with intellectual disabilities. She is partially verbal and can understand English and Spanish. She attends school on Mondays from 830a to noon and Tuesday-Friday from 830a to 330p. Duties include managing the morning routine and getting the child off to school, picking her up from school and transporting home and managing the afternoon routine until her parents return. While the child is in school, duties include light housekeeping (dishwasher, taking out trash), meal and snack prep for the child, and the child’s laundry. Candidates who are calm and patient, reliable, organized and structured would be a great match for this family. Candidates must be comfortable assisting with dressing and bathing and accompanying the parents to doctor and dentist appointments. Candidates should be aware the child has infrequent seizures that typically happen in the evenings. This job is available now.
